He placed the
Borders.
The very fact that the ocean is kept from sweeping over us, is proof enough that God loves us.
Imagine the power of the sea, in all of its roar, without boundaries. We would be devoured by the waves and overcome by the storms. The border God sets for us is not to keep us FROM things, it’s to keep things from US. Sometimes we do things that cross those boundaries, and we find ourselves in deep waters, where nothing we do will matter. Insert Jesus. the one who walks on water and reaches his hand out to pull you from the deep. All you have to do is have faith and call out his name. He will rescue you.

‘Do you not fear Me?’ declares the Lord.
‘Do you not tremble in My presence?
For I have placed the sand as a boundary for the sea,
An eternal decree, so it cannot cross over it.
Though the waves toss, yet they cannot prevail;
Though they roar, yet they cannot cross over it. Jeremiah 5:22
Matthew 14:27-32
But Jesus spoke up at once: “Take courage! It is I.
Do not be afraid.”
“Lord, if it is You,” Peter replied, “command me to come to You on the water.”
“Come,” said Jesus.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the strength of the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!
Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and took hold of Peter. “You of little faith,” He said, “why did you doubt?” And when they had climbed back into the boat, the wind died down.
Then those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God!”
